The Ministry of Justice has announced the notice for prioritizing the registration of incorporation process based on the “Action Plan for Simplifying and Speeding up Incorporation Registration.” Effective from March 12, 2018, the new “Fast Track” system for registering the incorporation of Kabushiki-Kaisha and Godo-Kaisha will start. Under the new system, the incorporation registration will be generally completed within 3 days except in the case of adjustment required.

In light of the “Declaration to Be the World’s Most Advanced IT Nation” or “Japan Revitalization Strategy 2016,” the Action Plan enhances the following to create the better business environment:

 a. No requirement of attaching certificates of registered matters
 b. Enhancement of processing registration of incorporation
 c. Enhancement of using online process

3. Fast Track of Incorporation Registration
Effective from March 12, 2018, the new “Fast Track” system will start for registering the incorporation of stock corporations (Kabushiki-Kaisha) and limited liability companies (Godo Kaisha). Under the “Fast Track” system, the registration will be completed within 3 working days from the application.
